Pratesi

Pratesi has been producing leather goods since 1948, when right after the 2nd World War, Egidio Pratesi took advantage of all the expansion going on in the world of the cinema and movies, and started to work as a costume designer and tailor of a number of the costumes used in the making of the film " Quo Vadis ", the famous film set in ancient Rome. After that successful experience, he continued his activity as an artisan, making first small leather goods and then specializing in handbags, briefcases and travel bags. Time has passed by and new methods of craftsmanship have been introduced and the final product has become one of the most durable and finest ever. In over 50 years, the company has been handed down from father to son for three generations, creating its own individual and unique style in the field of leather goods, perfectly combining beauty and functionality.
