Organic red wine with a unique flavour, capable of giving the taster the authentic flavor of Abruzzo.

 

Commercial name: organic Montepulciano d'Abruzzo DOC Tenuta Rosburgo.

Product nature: red wine of controlled origin, 100% organic, obtained from the vineyards of our estate, in the heart of Abruzzo, between Roseto and Morro d'Oro.

Grapes:  100% Montepulciano

Cultivation system:  rows

Harvest period:  first ten days of October

Harvest:  the harvest is carried out manually and the transfer takes place in small boxes

Crushing:  separation of the stalks and non-energetic pressing to respect the integrity of the grapes

Winemaking:  macerations in steel winemakers for a duration of 10-14 days with manual pumping over of the must

Fermentation:  fermentation is spontaneous, with indigenous yeasts

Maturation:  before bottling it rests for 12 months in concrete tanks

Alcohol content: 14%

 

ORGANOLEPTIC CHARACTERISTICS


The color is ruby ​​red, full and shiny with garnet reflections.

On the nose it is intense and full of red fruit, in particular berries in alcohol, plum, blackcurrant, bouquet of withered flowers and spicy notes on the finish.

With a round and dry body , a perfect balance emerges between the soft components and a very lively tannin.

Excellent served with meat-based dishes with a strong flavor such as roasts, game, game, cured meats and mixed grills. At the end of the meal it can be paired with hard, mature cheeses.

Red vinification : with selected yeasts, maceration for 6/8 days, temperatures vary from 24-26° C to favor the extraction of the coloring substance contained in the skin of the grapes.

Malolactic fermentation : yes, just after racking. Refinement: yes, in concrete tanks for at least 6 months. Average life of wine: 4/5 years.
